Just to close the loop on anOSU hiring a new RB coach since Gillespie's name was thrown around by anOSU fans...

Sources: Ohio State has agreed to a two-year deal with Carlos Locklyn to be the school’s new running backs coach. He comes from Oregon and has worked various roles at Memphis, Western Kentucky and FSU. 247 first reported deal.

I just saw an IG post that said Brailsford has not shown up to the team's recent practices (in addition to missing the scrimmage; per Tony Tsoukalas). So there might be some legs to this talk of him hitting the portal.

Have we been doing an injury report this spring? Wondering if maybe he is hurt.

Though I wouldnt be suprised if he expected to walk in and be given the job since our center left.

Side note, and I've said this before, if Brockermeyer is good enough to beat out Parker(who was supposedly all-world as a freshman), then why the frick wasn't he starting over Seth?

If Brock is our center it's because he beat Brailsford out. DeBoer isn't gonna bring in his guy and then play Brock just to win points with the guys who were on the team last year. Brock was the #1 center in his class. His only problem was his weight being undersized.

If Brailsford is missing multiple practices, then my scenarios / suppositions fly out the window. Can't justify that.

On the positive side, if Brockermeyer has progressed, that's all to the good.

Two things about that catch:

1) Milroe threw over the middle on a checkdown!

2) Holy cow, that was a terrible throw over the middle!

3) He probably would have gotten Jayden Daniels'd if Lawson was allowed to hit the QB.

Alabama is re-hiring John McNulty as an analyst, sources tell @247Sports.

McNulty, a former OC at Boston College and Rutgers and ex-position coach in the NFL and places like Notre Dame, was at Bama as an analyst last year. Now returning to Bama to work under Kalen DeBoer.

Ive always thought Kobe Prentice can be a good player at Bama. He does a lot of things well and he works hard. He is a guy who could take a big leap forward with some progression at the QB position.

Who is there returning that you'd put ahead of him? Especially if Milroe has improved with some actual coaching/QB development. Maybe Dart or Beck? I honestly can't think of anyone else.

Dart and Beck. I think Dart should be 1.
