Zay Mincey is going to be a great one. His physical traits are through the roof.

Don’t have X/Twitter (not sure if it’s even on there) and can’t embed Instagram videos, but check out the qbc_tn Instagram account for a video of Ty Simpson spinning the ball this offseason.

It's funny that the first "highlight" they show from Milroe is him taking a sack.

I watched it earlier. He also posted some workout pictures on his Instagram page. We are very fortunate that he decided to stick around. He’s legit.

Simpson's throwing motion seems a bit improved to me. A tad quicker or more compact, perhaps, than I remember.

Also looks like he has more zip and power in his throws.

He has gotten bigger and stronger. Not only physically but mentally. He wasn’t ready this time last year. Now, he can really compete for the job.

Really tells you how in over his head that loser from Notre Dame that Rees brought over was that Simpson came in and actually ran the offense competently compared to him.

My point was Ty not ready for primetime was infinitely better than the now lacrosse player getting his big shot as a starter.

Not a slight of Ty.

Buchner is giving Avalos a run for his money as worst Alabama starting QB of my lifetime.

I think we have two QBs capable of playing playoff level football going into the fall.

I'm not worried about that position at all unless something changes.

Worst case Ty starts next year. Mac waited his turn and you see how that ended.

It’s crazy Buchner at the scrimmage effortlessly went down the field and scored. Then against USF dud.

Is that Manning passing camp for highschoolers or college quarterbacks? I wonder why Ty is not trying to get in on that? I didn’t see his name listed in the attendance article that has been posted by On3 anyway.

I can’t remember where I read it but I seem to recall Simpson has been working one on one with a coach to improve his skillset. Frankly, I don’t care who he works with as long as it works for him and he improves a bit.

You probably have to be invited. Sure they just don't accept anyone as a counselor.

Reminds me of my son when he doesn't want to get out of bed in the morning. His last day of 3rd grade was Wednesday.

Well college sports is not really college anymore. It has long been something of a minor league but it definitely is now

This has to be crushing for some smaller sports and smaller schools that can’t afford to pay all these athletes. Even with the increases in tuition and ticket prices that are 100% coming, there’s no way some of these schools will be able to afford it right?

But student employees don't make as much as some of these guys will make. Even your avg talent level starter on the football team is going to making way, way more than the student working at the college bookstore part-time for $10.75/hr

Also they'll have to pay salaries to lots of athletes many of which play sports that make little to no money or even lose money.
