It's now being reported that William Inge, in addition to LB's, may also be responsible for special teams: LINK

This article provides an overview of the defensive staff (which looks very promising).

Maybe a little OT, but Rob Ezell has been named OC at South Alabama.

(Still the best imitation of Coach Saban ever )

Just some dude that's won everywhere he's been. Runs the same defense as Wommack.

Ah I see, OU basically went without an on-field STC on gameday.

Apparently so. Some of the STC duties may be shared with Inge through the week, to allow him to focus on LBs then? I looked at how well Nunez did at Eastern Michigan, where he spent 5 years. His special teams were good there, and he was well respected.

Nunez will be on the field while Inge will coach Bama LBs from an undisclosed room underneath Husky stadium.

One of the things the power conferences need to extract out of their upcoming greater autonomy is the ability to determine on-field coaching staff size among themselves.

I get how the 10 number is fairer for lower levels of competition but if schools are going to be paying players like employees soon then every position group needs their own on-field position coach.

Spoke with Clemson athletic director Graham Neff about last month's Dabo Swinney-Alabama saga.

There never was a “Dabo Swinney-Alabama Saga.”

I don’t believe Dabo was ever truly considered for the job.

“I’m Ryan Grubb, I’m your new Offensive Coordinator” - that was Ryan Grubb this afternoon speaking to The Red Elephant Club today at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
