I was lucky. Both of my kids got scholarships that covered the majority of the tuition. I paid living expenses out of pocket. No student debt at graduation. Engineering for my son. Nursing for my daughter. Both had great offers upon graduation and are doing well. The advice about test scores and GPA were huge in getting the scholarships.
