(Bama fan) ... it might be 2019 LSU team. It's hard to say, but I'd lean that way.
Why do we care? We don't have to have everything, lol. We have like a bunch of great teams, plus a dynasty.
Bama's 2020 team was truly great, tho. You folks straining at a Covid asterisk to diminish it are nuts. The all-SEC schedule and the sheer talent level are against you. In some ways, the team rising to all challenges in the midst of a pandemic adds to its legacy; it doesn't lessen it. That was The Process writ large.

If Tua was really injured then the right thing should have been done and Alabama should have conceded the game. A more deserving team with a healthy QB should have been allowed to play that game.

Doesn't matter, they played multiple current NFL starting quarterbacks and just outscored them all.

LSU 2019 is THE GOAT
2019 LSU team against Packed stadiums, many top 10 teams at full strength.
2020 bama team empty stadiums , teams with players missing weekly and others opting out of the year. Played against like 3 top 15 schools all year. Yeah 2020 bama team best ever.

This is the exact same team as their 2019 team with a shittier qb. dont see why 19' LSU wouldn't beat them by at least 20.
Bama's 2019 team was 10x better than their 2020 team, only reason the 19 team didnt sneak into the 4 seed is because Tua got hurt and Mac couldn't beat Auburn
