*Take a page from Elon’s book and tell the NCAA to get fricked
*Cut the bottom nine teams from the P5
*Form Four 15-team conferences from the 60 Teams
*Take the top 3 teams from each league for a 12-Team playoff
*Give an automatic bye to each champion (which keeps the conference championship games relevant)
*Makes the players employees of the university’s athletic association and pay them

Be what they everyone knows they already are….A pro league

The SEC and Big 10 will break away in 5 to 10 years. They will establish their own rules. ESPN and Fox cannot keep competing, they will partner and control the product.

Ross Dellenger's article a few weeks ago has current AD's already on record saying this is coming, maybe < 5 years. There is also hints that after the current NCAA Final Four contract is up with CBS and TNT or TBS (whichever one) around 2030, they may move to set up their own Basketball Championship.

Exactly. The NCAA tournament is a billion dollar cash cow the 12 team CFP, 2 billion add in season rights and the SEC and Big 10 are dividing 5 billion a year amongst their teams. And advertisers get access to the entire country and the best matchups. Flex scheduling, team streaming, it will be huge.

Just form a NFL farm league and drop the NIL from college football. You can go play minor league farm ball or go to college and play. The scholarship and degree is your reward.

I’m with you, but most of these players aren’t really going to school. They can take all online classes and their majors are usually public relations or some other general ed degree.
