Or maybe Memphis. We need to alternate the SECCG between East and West. New Orleans is the only city capable of handling the champ game, but it is way too close to LSU.

Yes, but LSU fans are always very hospitable to visiting fans in New Orleans. We get no home advantage from it.

I propose that Mississippi taxpayers fund a new Brett Favre Dome for Hattiesburg, or better yet, Kiln.

EDIT: Alabama taxpayers funding a JaMarcus Dome in Mobile would also be acceptable imo.

The minute we pull out of Atlanta the ACC will jump in and we cannot allow that.

Wouldn't Memphis be way to close to Ole Miss?

Of all viable cities (Atlanta, Nashville, New Orleans, Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami), Atlanta is the most central (trust me; I've done all the math).

With Atlanta, Georgia is the only school that is particularly close, and LSU (3-1 in SECCG's) and Arkansas (never the favored team) are the only ones who are particularly far.

Also, the team closer to Atlanta is now 9-8 in SECCG's. Geography hasn't played that big a role in the game.

Stay in Atlanta, SECCG.

Why should an Ole Miss fan be concerned with this?
