You don't deserve another shot if you lose to a top 4 team. That was your playoff chance.

You can try to hype the sec for your sos but the sec is overrated this year and still living off the preseason rankings. Bama and UGA have looked like teams that didn't deserve to be top 25 multiple times this year against this schedule you are trying to hype so much.

They can only beat who is on their schedule. Bama couldn't. That used to be Bama fans argument. I guess that's another change when it helps Bama thing.

There needs to be a standard that is objective instead of a subjective “feels”. That’s what we are asking for.

Honestly the BCS was better than a committee that over emphasizes what it feels is best. Give me Michigan vs Washington instead of this mess.

They should abide by the criteria they proclaim to follow. Two of the factors are Head to Head Matchups, and Comparative Outcomes. Alabama lost to Texas at home by 10. FSU beat LSU by more than Alabama did. So is the criteria optional, or do some factors weigh more heavily than others? The committee owes an explanation for the inconsistency.

Neat.

FSU cannot play themselves and it isnt their fault LSU kept losing after taking their lunch money.

The teams that lost had a chance to go undefeated…but they failed. Close the book.

That would work if yall were both undefeated. Yall have just as many duds for games as dominating victories and yall even got your arse beat at home. Pretty terrible by the conference if you ask me.

FSU schedule more difficult than UM. There is that. The committee is a joke and CFB is a joke. So many times teams get in just on media hype. Clemson was always automatics with their shitty schedule yet FSU gets snubbed. Travis has to be Heisman based on this nonsense. I’m not watching the fake playoffs. Best 4…please. UGa beats Bama 9 out of 10 times if we’re talking best 4.

Clemson wasn't competing with the same types of resumes FSU was competing with. In any other playoff year Texas and Alabama are absolute locks, and in a lot of years they are either #1 seeds or #2 seeds with a shot at #1.

The teams in the #3-5 range would have all been in every other playoff over the last 10 years without argument.

Statistics say otherwise, considering it is Bama who have handed Georgia there last two losses.

Years from now people will be thinking about this like they do 2004 Auburn, thinking
"man those FSU guys got hosed."

Perhaps. But none of that matters.

Florida State really did get hosed. They played their own conference schedule and they also played Florida and LSU. Florida State put LSU to sleep and LSU will have the Heisman on top of that.

Florida State cannot play themselves. Bama, is this argument not familiar?

There’s no rule that an undefeated power conference team gets an auto bid. If the conferences wanted that they could have put it in

How do you determine best 4 teams? Eye test?

That’s proven to be very reliable over the years
