So, if I'm understanding the SEC Rant, the committee should not select the 4 "Best" teams

Instead, they should choose undefeated teams, regardless of SOS, etc.

What’s the best is all subjective, if you run the table in your power 5 conference you should be in the playoff. Don’t recognize it as a power conference if you’re gonna shaft them come playoff time. If an undefeated team in the ACC can’t get in over one loss teams then they are not a power conference so stop calling them that

Yes. They were all super on board with UCF claiming that national championship a few years ago, because “MUH UNDEFEATED!!1!”

Correct.

Now if LSU had been in Alabama’s shoes today, then the committee would have made a courageous decision in putting LSU in knowing the criticism that they would receive for doing so.

You don’t deserve shite when you play the 58th best schedule in the country and the team you’re being compared to has 2 wins against teams better than anyone you played all year.

Sorry.

Playoffs are never about best team.

You may be new to playoffs if you think that is the case.

Nick Saban 2018 after the SECCG: "UGA is one of the 4 best teams in the country. But I can't vote them top 4 because they didn't deserve it. It isn't fair"

How many SEC teams should FSU have scheduled?
They already scheduled 2 of the Big 6 from the SEC.

Did they need 3? Because the SEC was down?

Well at least Alabama scheduled 2 OOC P5 opponents. Right?

How do we know who the 4 best teams are? Many nuts here think a team that all but lost to Auburn, lost to Texas, beat Arkansas by 3, and beat Texas A&M by 6 is one of the 4 best teams.

Sorr

That is one metric. Another is wins and losses. They had 0 losses. Bama had a loss at home. I remember when wins and losses used to matter.

You don't deserve another shot if you lose to a top 4 team. That was your playoff chance.

You can try to hype the sec for your sos but the sec is overrated this year and still living off the preseason rankings. Bama and UGA have looked like teams that didn't deserve to be top 25 multiple times this year against this schedule you are trying to hype so much.

No, you're an idiot. The SEC rant is saying the games on the field matter and the best four teams includes the team that won all their games and their championship.

IMO, Georgia is 1 of the 4 best teams too. I would select them over Washington.

Oh, your losses still matter. The eye test is just reserved for Bama.

Those are some top notch opponents though. You left out that 2 TD blowout of South Florida. They just get a pass on half their season and anything that doesn't look good.

Against the 58th strongest schedule in the country.

Neat.
