You literally said earlier in this thread you were rooting for Nix, but there’s no bias? And you were 100% anti Ashford before the season even started. Speaking of lying…

Christ man even I’m getting sick of your shite. Knock it off.

No Heisman, No Conference Championship, No College Football Playoff. Could’ve stayed at Auburn and done the same thing. If he had stayed Auburn would’ve probably beat Alabama twice and Georgia once. He also had a bad loss to Georgia at Oregon. His signature win at Oregon was beating a #10 Utah and #13 Utah .Running for supposed greener pastures doesn’t always work out the way people expect.

The only negative is if he had stayed we might not have gotten rid of Harsin when we did. Auburn appears to be heading in the right direction now.

He can still hit 15,000 career passing yards in the bowl. He got his picture on billboards in NYC, and he may still make it to the Heisman ceremony. Bo had success in Oregon, you dick.

2023: 4,145 passing yards, 40 TDs, 3 Interceptions, 91.9 QBR
Bo Nix take a bow

If he'd had stayed at Auburn he would have had no receivers to throw to, his passing yards would have declined, he'd have worn himself out running for his life and likely have spent even more time recovering from injuries. There's no doubt, now, his draft stock is higher.

Meanwhile, our starter this year was running for his life and throwing for 90 yards a game. I'm sure Nix is satisfied with his decision.

I am glad he found success. Good for him

He always struck my as immature and it looked like he grew up out there but watching him stay on the bench for a prolonged time after last nights game with a towel on his head made me wonder if he still has some growing left to do.

He was watching as his Heisman and playoff slipped away. Can't blame him for being dejected under the towel. That dude said all the right things with the reporters and into the microphones and has never embarrassed Auburn, he is allowed to show he is not infallible. He isn't God; he is a kid. Cam Newton did the whole towel thing too.

It wasn't a good look for Cam either though.

It will be nice when all these old arse dudes are out of college. Playing 60 college games is ridiculous and eventually anybody should improve with that volume. I never liked Nix attitude and was never a fan. Came across as a ‘me’ player and that’s probably why he took out two coaches at Auburn. Some QBs are just coach killers.

It really is remarkable the narratives people are able to convince themselves of no matter how much evidence there is to the contrary.

Joey Gatewood is playing for a title today as well. Don’t see anyone all happy and excited about that. Good luck to him though.

Of all the stupid narratives this one takes the cake. Bo’s presence basically plugged the holes.

Him leaving ultimately worked out better for him and for us. We’d probably still be under the Russet Regime.

Hope he plays well. But just like last night, Washington, Texas, Michigan, uat and FSU all winning is best for Auburn.

That is my filter everytime.

Bo in the playoffs and winning a Heisman would provide the media another opportunity to put Auburn in a negative light.

Therefore I am happy he lost.

Bye bye Bo.

I was thinking more about if all that happened, no uat or thUGA in the playoffs. It would be nice for a change.

That is the same filter for me today.

I want FSU to win by 30.
Michigan and Texas to win by 30.
Bammer to beat UGA by 1 point on a bad play call by a referee.

I am pro Auburn.

Always.

Cheering for a former player at another school makes no sense to me.

Edit: I don’t wish bad on Bo. He made the right decision. But the media hates Auburn and uses it to hurt us.

Therefore (in this situation) I like to see him disappear.

I have no problem cheering for him in the NFL.

Bo gave solid effort while at Auburn. After seeing what he is capable of at Oregon, I suspect he covered up a few team flaws while here.

Absolutely improved his NFL chances moving to Oregon though, no question about it.
