They took a damn timeout and trotted that formation up. I don’t think I have ever seen someone lose from that position.

It wasn’t the defense it was the call. Should have brought 4 and made Milroe run or throw under pressure.
The guys rushing the passer didn’t even rush they were spying on Milroe. Stupid call.

That rush 2 or 3 leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I recall the MSU game where the D(umb) coordinator rushed three only to allow the MSU QB to cut the secondary up into little pieces.
I hate that kind of 3 rush!

The players did as well as could be expected of them, but Roberts continuing to drop and rush 3 on long downs is absolutely worth complaining about.

I'm honestly 50/50 on the play call. I get wanting to pressure and speed things up... but at the same time we have like 9 guys in coverage and all they had to do was not allow basically a hail mary TD. Just get around head around and find the ball.

This. That’s literally all we had to do and make Milroe throw off balance.

Two man rush made a 31 yard pass to the end zone possible. Pressure, pressure, pressure would have ended the game right there.
