Just listened to the AM athletic director say he went to the university president and told him they had to have a plan. What a joke. Paying off a football coach 75 million is not a plan. It is robbery of the rich boosters. College football is joke. Why don’t these administrators put in these contracts if you don’t produce you get a small severance package.

Rich boosters take tax deductions for their donation lowering their tax burden. Lowering by contributing to a semi pro football program which they have all become. Tax not paid that could have been used on something useful for the population. What else?

The rich boosters said get it done, here is a check.

The concerns are appreciated and noted, however.

How is it robbery?

The rich boosters chose Jimbo and told A&M to go get him whatever the cost. They have also stated, "If you can afford the contract then you better be able to afford the buyout". Another booster has stated recently that they weren't worried about the the buyout money last year. Many of them wanted him gone last year.

I don't think you have any idea just how many boosters there are and how much money is available.
