Phenix City has always been tough on Auburn the last several years. I don’t think Nix is speaking ill toward Auburn. I would be nice but I would be justly satisfied with Williams.

There have been a lot of Alabama stars who returned to live in Phenix City - Woodrow Lowe (also coached at Central) - Eddie Lowe - current mayor = the Castille brothers - Billy Jackson etc. Ed King is only big time Auburn player who comes to mind. Get past those guys whispering to recruits and add that Auburn is so close (30) miles that it is not really going away to school and I would say it will take a tractor trailer of money to get Coleman

Yes we want both.
Me personally I don’t care if Ryan Williams reclassifies or not. Would be nice to land him but either class is fine. If he reclassifies he loses essentially his first 6 games of the season playing catch-up. If he stays in his real class he can be an early enrollee and can continue to work on his body to prepare for his freshman year of college.

He won't be playing catch up at Auburn, he would be the go to guy today if he put on a uniform.

I wasn’t knocking him but freshman that are fall enrollees it takes time just to learn the play book. Wasn’t a knock on his talent
