Do I think he ordered the hit? No.

Do I think Bama has a history of spearing and/or driving good QBs into the ground and that they are willing to take 15 yards if it means a McCoy, Ewers, Daniels, Mettenberger, etc is knocked out of a big game? Yes.

It’s not why we lost, but I do think it’s a part of how Saban approaches star QBs, because there’s definitely a trend and it has spanned multiple assistants.

So he’ll never say “This guy’s killing us, go take him out right now,” but I think the general practice seems to be “if you get a chance to make him bleed…make him bleed and we’ll accept the penalty.”

No, he didn't need to. The LSU offense started to shite itself in the second half and their defense couldn't stop a little girl on a scooter.

It wouldn't matter if Daniels was out or not. There's no way they recapture the lead.

If he was going to do that he would have done it last year to cover up goldings sorry a$$ defense. The game was in control when this happened. The play deserved a penalty sure, but Turner plays the game hard and fast.

Compare Devin White's hit on Fitzgerald in 2019 vs. Turner's hit on Jayden last night.

LINK

Above is Devin White’s hit that was called targeting

LINK

Above is Dallas Turner’s “hit” which was not called targeting.

Which looks more like targeting?……BE

Yes. I called it last week. That guaranteed the win. Hope JD is ok. There is something really wrong with the SEC officials and Alabama.

Time and time again they get the most obvious and egregious calls.

Pretty sure he would have ordered it earlier.

Every QB is code redded by Bama. It is part of their dirty arse gameplan...it's who they are. If you can't win fair and square injure somebody.
