So you don't think there are people on here that would rather see Mizzou get "put in our place." There are many of those types here, trust me.

Holy cow. You think too much of yourself.

In all seriousness, folks don't think about Mizzou like this. You have to be Prime level obnoxious (or Mullen level), OR you have to be seen as a threat for folks to want you knocked off. Mizzou is neither.

As usual, I want a close, hard fought, entertaining contest where somehow both fan bases come away disappointed. A narrow victory for UGA would do that, but a Mizzou win would disappoint UGA bigtime and set y'all up for bigger disappointment down the road. Let's go with that.

I’m using the dickhead level of this board to decide so it’s an overwhelming for me.

That's an attitude that I can respect.

A narrow victory would not upset UGA fans.

But to be honest, I expect Georgia to be as well prepared for this game as no other this season.

So if Missouri were to pull off an upset, it would be to their credit.

My gut feeling is that Georgia will simply wear down Missouri and pull away.

Other than LSU for SOS reasons, I can't see teams in the West giving two shits about this game.

In the East, Tennessee especially, and perhaps Florida should be rooting for MO for their own self-interests.

Everyone else will likely make their decision on who they have the bigger hardon for.

I don't think many people give Mizzou any thought at all...

You're probably right. I imagine there are plenty of people thinking about us today though.

Correct. I’m pulling for the upset even though it’s unlikely

I’m rooting for Darth Mizzou because I have heard “The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise” and see the Jedi for who they truly are.

I wish there were a way you could both lose.
And Kirby stops in a 7-11 in Colombia Missouri. Buys a lottery ticket and wins 7 billion in the powerball drawing. He then takes the entire Smart family and leaves the country, never to return.

Gross. Who would watch that? Would Ole Miss know how to get to Atlanta?

Honestly ? Mizzou. Even though Kentucky's recent "maybe they don't completely suck" narrative came at the expense of several one possession wins at the expense of Mizzou. A couple of them sketchy. That was not pass interference, for one. We all know which game I'm talking about.

I get tired of the "Big Six" narrative here. I also get tired of ignoring that Mizzou, when they first got here, were pretty damn good under Pinkel. They seem to be getting back to that now. They support their team as well as anyone. They're serious about their fall ball.

So. Mizzou. I'll back Mizzou in this one.
