I wish Cecil, Charlie, and Fluff were all here on earth celebrating with us making it to the Elite 8!
But I know they are all celebrating together in HEAVEN.

Watching UConn develop into this machine over the past few years makes me appreciate what it must have been like to compete with Alabama football during Saban's best years (which was most of them). You have to count on something more than just "playing our best" to beat them

I don't know if this has been mentioned or not but I think Mark Sears broke the single season scoring record yesterday if I'm not mistaken.

He also broke that young PG they had. Did he pull a Kobe and just decide to run straight through that kid to send a message?
UNC fans are all saying Hubert got outcoached and Cadeau disappeared. They cant believe Withers shot that 3 at the end. And they think Grant channeled some Laetner juju. I fricking love it.

Oats doesn’t have many coaching flaws but when to call timeouts has been a big one. His timeout usage during the tournament has been damn near flawless.

Whew. Late west coast games are rough on an old guy. 5:30 came early. Completely worth it though. That’s why we have caffeine, right?

It wasn’t long after that Cadeau went to the bench and didn’t come back. Kid was shook.

Our boys knew they were playing in Staples Center, aka Kobe's House.
After the game Grant took the picture in front of the Kobe team USA poster. Thats the same team from when he ran through Pau.

The big four guys were just awesome - what a performance.
With Wrightsell out, Griffen had to show up, and he was great.
The Ryan kid from Duke central casting hounded Sears all night, and he was still efficient and he still came up with two monster back to back possessions down 85-82 (blew by Ryan for the layup and then the assist for Nelson’s and 1).
Estrada is really playing well (outside of 3 point shooting), and obviously Nelson was a monster.
80 of our 89 points from those four.
