Estrada is by far the most disrespected player we've ever had in Bama Hoops online circles (more so directed at Bama Hoops Twitter). Even though he's our 2nd leading scorer, leader in assists, 2nd leading rebounder, and blue collar points leader (I believe), he can have a turnover or two and people start begging Oats to bench him. Then he has a night like last night and everybody only talks about Walters and Nelson (both were fantastic). He had 20 points, 8 assists (to one TO), 8 rebounds, and 4 steals and for the most part, not many people really noticed.

Since the Auburn game where he scored 0
PPG: 14
RPG: 5
APG : 5.4
Turnovers per game: 2
FG%: 47%
Funnily enough, he feels like a mediocre 3-ball shooter but his 33% would be 4th on last year’s team and 3rd two years ago
Our perspective on his 3 point shot is warped because we have a whopping 4 guys shooting 40% or better

How do you NOT want that guy calling BAMA football games?

Stewart is a great bball guy, but he's not as good for football to me. He may be better than Eli at some things, but there are a lot of better football play by play guys out there.

I wish I could up vote this twice.

I love how there is not just one guy that can kill you. They all want to step up and pick up the slack when someone is out or if someone else is off

I gotta give Pringle credit too. Since he came back other than the 1st game against Auburn he has been really solid.

Encouraging people to sign up for another message board is a big no no on here. As many of us know from experience.

Was it just my perspective or were the guys just rushing their shots last night?

I went through every game in Nate Oats' tenure at Alabama and calculated the Win/Loss record and win% based on how many threes Alabama made in those games:
0-5 Threes: 4-9 (.307%)
6-10 Threes: 50-27 (.650%)
11-15 Threes: 45-10 (.820%)
16+ Threes: 12-3 (.800%)

I listened to him call the TSIO in 2021. The drama was palpable. I had no access to TV, Stewart described that Shitshow to a tee.
I still haven't seen that disaster.

After video review in the conference office, it was determined that Wague committed the fighting act of striking Florida’s Alex Condon in the back of the head with his elbow/forearm with 9:25 remaining to play in the first half of Wednesday’s game.
As a result of the review, Wague will be suspended for Alabama’s game at Kentucky on Saturday, Feb. 24.

Statement from Nate Oats on Mohamed Wague’s Suspension
“We received the discipline for Mo from the SEC and agree with the suspension. After reviewing the film, the penalty is understandable and appropriate.”
