This year your second best team got beat by the second best team in but 12 by 10 points on their homefield …. Some of you are delusional .

losing by 10 pts at home is so similar to losing by 25 & 58 on a neutral field and how do you know Bama is the 2nd best team in the sec and Texas the second best in Big 12...the season isn't over.

how many programs in the Big 12 have won national titles this century? 5 different ones have won in the SEC and 4 of them have won multiple titles.

A&M never been to Atlanta in how many years?

Obviously, A&M's best SEC year was their first year, which destroys your dumbass theory that it'll take time to adjust to the grind of the SECSECSEC. So, you shift to aggy has never won the West. You might want to check and see how many times aggy won their division in the Big 12 when trying to make this dumbass point.

quote:

Mizou went twice in a usual weaker East division with UF & Tenn being down for a while.

Mizzou went twice in the usually weaker North in the Big 12 in 2007 and 2008. Didn't win their division the last 3 years in the Big 12 and waltzed into the billy badass SECSECSEC and.... Check off another dumbass point for you.

quote:

How has Nebraska done in the Big 10?

They suck for reasons that intelligent cfb fans have discussed ad nauseum. You think NU sucking in the Big 10 is better evidence than A&M performing better in the SEC than they did in the Big 12? You probably didn't realize aggy has a better conference winning percentage in the SEC than they did in the Big 12.

quote:

Colorado in the Pac 10?

They suck. CU has sucked for a long time for a lot of reasons, mainly indifference.

quote:

We have seen what has happened to really good OU teams in the playoffs against the SEC

To support your point, how has OU done against the other SEC teams? Isn't that the point? That OU won't be able to handle the billy badass SECSECSEC? How has OU done against the teams that aren't the very best in all of CFB?

Pretty sure that was a year UGA and Bama were both in the playoffs

no the point is the SEC is a grind. You can call this another dumbass theory if you want but do you actually think playing a Big 12 conference schedule is easier/ the same/more difficult than playing an sec conference schedule?

I would say that for LSU defense! LSU thought they would compete for a championship this year. Your quarterback is the key to keep you in most games. Almost lost to Arkansas, Mizzou and more would be like that and might end up losing 2 games and I wouldn't be surprised if LSU lose 3. But I think 2 losses is for real. Arkansas and Mizzou had no business to be in a very close game against a more talented LSU team.

You're all the same goofs who said Bama would "beat texsa by 4 TDs!" last year, and this year. Nobody should take anything you say seriously. You just talk out of your asses.

Texas beating Alabama should’ve ended that rather abruptly

It lives on at the UTrans campus. The university immortalized the Dildo Rally by placing a dildo in the Student Activity Center. They even nicknamed it Big Boy. It is still on display today.

WTH is UTrans thinking displaying that in a building on campus?
Maybe they were thinking if they displayed it on campus in a place that gets no attention, some aggie poster on a message board would post it 200 times to change the topic while masking his own projection.

I mean... that's just my best guess

Why display it at all? Why immortalize at all?

Your university seems to care about it a whole lot more than you and your fellow posters do. They seem to be awful proud of the fact that y'all are the only university in history to pass out dildos to freshman in the middle of campus. Most of the kids collecting their free dildo are not old enough to drink or vote. There appears to be just as many if not more guys lined up to get their free dildo. University professors spoke out at the parade! This parade is revered by university officials as one of the greatest moments in UTrans history!

I have a lot of family and good friends that are 'sips. They were all so embarrassed when this hit the news. I almost felt sorry for them at the time. ALMOST.

Yet somehow neither party seems to care near as much as you do. But I guess thanks for unloading your photo library on this site? Definitely doesn’t seem like you’re projecting any insecurities or anything…

Considering most people wouldn’t even know that this one-time event took place if not for you constantly posting pictures from it (which is rather odd behavior on your end), I don’t think that position of yours quite tracks

This might be the dumbest thread in the history of this site, and that is saying something.

First, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I have two kids at LSU, respect SEC football, watch plenty of games, and I’ve heard this shite since the announcement was made. I’ve told everyone that both schools will do far better than they think from Year 1. Y’all do realize that Texas and OU are both historical Top 10 programs, right? And while it pains me to admit it, my Longhorns have historically underachieved and are still there. Fact of the matter is that if Stoops hadn’t chosen his little brother over Venables and Riley gave a rats arse about defense the Sooners would likely have 2-3 more titles.

I’ll bet anyone on this board that 1) Texas wins out the rest of the way and 2) goes better than 8-4 on average over the next 10 years.

And for you troglodytic A&M humper types, as a Texas alumnus the fact that our school isn’t homophobic or afraid of sex is a point of pride for me personally, but you do you. I’m sure that’s why College Station is as popular as Austin. But even if I didn’t feel that way, someone repping a school known for jizz jars, Milkmen, the elephant walk, and yell leaders shouldn’t be judging anyone given your homoerotic traditions. Every accusation is truly a confession with y’all.

Also interesting that the fans of the most successful teams in your conference over the past several years don’t dismiss the possibility of our success as much as Arky, A&M, Ole Miss, etc. And it has been pointed out repeatedly, but A&M has been MORE successful in the SEC than they ever were in the Big 12. I love LSU (though not all of their fans) and respect Bama and UGA, but we are about to frick a lot of y’all up the next several years.

i agree its the grind. The B12 for OU they are double digit favs in every game the rest of the way and can get up for 1-2 big games a year.

When you have a stretch like a LSU, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Mizzou, Tenn, Florida, Bama, etc, thats what wears you down.

SEC is truly the only conference where every team except Vandy can beat anyone on any given Saturday.

This is why I’m looking forward to Texas joining the SEC…they have had a bad habit of playing down to the competition and have gotten complacent is some games. I’m ok with losing to a quality teams but it’s hard to get excited to play Iowa and Baylor every year.

i.e. the Big 12 1995-2012 and OU fared pretty well through that grind.
It will be more difficult, no doubt. And the days of going 10-2 without blinking an eye are over.
However, to think OU will not have more years at 10+wins than years with less than 8 is just silly.
Can't wait.

I'm looking forward to them joining. Should be some really interesting matchups and to see how they handle the grind of an SEC schedule.

Agree. I know y'all paused plans to expand Vaught Hemingway last year, what's the latest on when y'all plan to resume plans? If y'all added 15-20k and kept it filled that'd be awesome.
