Cowards behind keyboard generation.
WOuld never say something like that to his face.

Cowards they are.

70s and 80s look better the further I get from them.

Public figures get made fun of on Twitter Sam. Saban about his height is a perfect example.

Yep, this thread alone shows examples of the childishness he’s had to look at the last 3 years. He put up with it longer than I would have.

He's a public figure who makes a shitload of money.

Today, that kind of stuff comes with the territory. You can't take any of it personally. If you want anonymity, get you a cabin off the grid in Newton County, or a regular job like a regular person. You won't be able to afford that big lake house, though.

Sam mentioned he used twitter for recruiting purposes, I doubt all the attacks helped him in that effort. Getting rid of it was the right thing to do. Our fanbase has a lot of idiots unfortunately….

This is a tough one. I get his point but at the same time it's part of the job. If he didn't want scrutiny he should've stayed an OL coach making a good living but a lot less than a HC.

bro, hear me out....the other alternative is for a multi millionaire (who has access to a private chef and Dietician on staff and a whole staff of guys that would be happy to personal train him) is to lose weight. It isnt that fricking hard.

at the very least, get a script and start lifting during the day when the strength coaches lift and eat with the team and only what you are told to eat...frick not that hard to not be 300lbs.

and im not hiding behind a phone, i would tell him that to his face just like any respectable person would. Its not that hard to not be way morbidly obese.

We didn't bash you at UGA, Sam. Remember that!

I do, and I don't see bigger tits on me than most women have when I do so.

He's not the first fat coach to be made fun of and won't be the last. He's another in a line of Mangino, Weis, Friedgen, etc. Even Heupel gets shite for it with the Bobby Hill memes.

Somebody fire this man right now, and send him to Georgia as OL coach.

When did he ask for anonymity? I haven't heard about him backing out of any press conferences. He's just giving the creepy crawlers on Twitter the finger. Does his contract obligate him to have an account?

If Sam is fired we won’t hear from him again. Would be the greatest gift he could ever receive.

He seems like a nice guy but football fans are rabid. SEC fans are on another level. Just don't acknowledge it. The door swings both ways, win games and everyone wants to suckle. Even our coach is a little bitch about criticism. But now fans are loving him.
