who gives a frick? both good schools

hell all of the schools in the SEC are good schools if you major in any stem degree. I work for grads from LSU, A&M, McNeese, LA Tech, Ole Miss, Arky, Miss State grads.

all the school you graduate from does is get your foot in the door if you have a good degree. after that up to the individual

dude, everyone knows aTm included their medical branch research numbers around the state, Galveston & Qatar Campus in their college station research number to inflate it, its sad but true, just read any aTm research statement

UT-MD Anderson alone has over $1B in research, and there are 7 other UT Medical schools

However, with the new UT Hospital & MD Anderson Austin, research numbers for UT-Austin alone will be $1.5B plus

If UT added their medical branch research numbers around the state to their UT-Austin numbers like aTm does, research dollars at UT would be $3.5B plus, and thats still not including other UT-campus research Dollars, as aTm does

lil bro aTm going to lil bro, carry on

You make up things while I provide links with actual data, you clearly have no idea how much research is going on and what departments. You clearly are uneducated and misinformed, and you clearly don’t care that you are either.

It is hilarious, UTrans fans are so insecure about everything

Wall Street Journal ranks Aggie above them as the best public university in Texas?

Their response is to quickly start talking about research dollars

Post facts and data from outside sources that show Aggie is a more prestigious research university?

They start talking about athletics again

Not talking about you, but this thread proves some people not associated with A&M give a great many fricks about where A&M is ranked

So we're the #1 public school in the country because WSJ says so?

Correct.

Also, other schools are #1 because other publications say so.

Also, some schools are totally better than others because someone put them in an order and some ended up higher on the page than others, dooming graduates of schools lower on the page to a life of abject poverty and failure.

Also, some dude 50 years ago wrote on paper that UT is a "public ivy" despite never having competed in the Ivy League in any way shape or form, so UT Austin basically exactly the same as Harvard now, and definitely not the huge state school we all thought it was. Surprising, I know.

Did I miss anything?

You might’ve missed the part where they are drastically behind as a research University according to every known and published measuring metric. But there’s hospitals that have their logo on the side in other cities so that makes them the world leader in everything

The funny part about this thread is you could have read the exact same thread back in 1986 on usenet's rec.sport.football or rec.sport.football.college.

Some things never change.

is TAMU is a better research institution than MIT and Berkeley? because TAMU reported more research dollars than both.
