Saban is not only the GOAT, he’s the only coach I know of in college football that has always been able to solve cracks whenever they have appeared in his program. Most Bama fans seem to have already accepted that Saban can’t fix it this time. Crazy how quickly nothing seems fixable now at Alabama.

I don't know a single Alabama fan that truly thinks they're going to lose on Saturday. On the other hand, every OM fan I know expects to lose. I'm not sure how that's accepting your fate.

When Bama fans have watched pretty consistent greatness for 15 years, what is so crazy of them recognizing something fundamentally different and acknowledging it? And the truth is many of these problems have persisted since 2021, but Bryce Young bailed us out and made 8-9 win teams into top 5 teams. There is clearly no Bryce currently playing in Tuscaloosa.

I think he is capable of fixing a lot of it, but I don’t know if he has the fire to do so. Plus, he needs to get the right group of assistants which isn’t entirely in his control.

This isn’t a crack…it’s the San Andreas fault.

Well they still have us to beat this year which shouldn’t be a problem.

Today is the first time since September 2015 that Alabama isn’t in the top 10. Forgive the fans for overreacting.

Man, that's a lot, a lot, to unpack. All true.

It's the combination of NIL and Transfer Portal. Of that, I'm sure. Coaches never stayed long under Saban. Because they were free to leave. Turns out, players don't like the constant heat Saban brings either.

And that's really the thing, isn't it ? Saban isn't shy about it. Nothing is ever good enough. A constant culture of constant improvement. Folks, have any of you ever worked at a place like old school GE, or a Toyota, that preached the same shite ?

I did. Both spots. Showing up to work every day, listening to how what you did yesterday doesn't count and somebody can take your job tomorrow ? That sounds good to the man in charge. It's a shitty existence for everybody else.

Nick Saban is the casualty of Nick Saban. We all enjoyed watching the ride. The ride is over. Because NIL and the portal gave people other options.

When the head coach has one foot out the door on the retirement train to Fla its beyond fixable, its a mess and the one they like to call the goat-lol is to blame.

Most of us know we can't stay on top 4ever. Just thankful
For the run we had & hoping to remain Competitive. I honestly think Saban is fed up
With the changes that
Have reshaped college
Football in reference to The portal & NIL. While most agree players should be compensated, some schools are using it in a way it wasn't
Designed. I for one
Am Sick of all the damn
Commercials & less football.

I think he will fix it. For those of you wanting Nick to leave you should be pulling for Alabama to do well. I don’t think he will leave with a performance like this.

It's 1 year.

We can deal with 1 year of shyte. Maybe it's 2 because we'll still need to get a better OC unless things change, and Rees improves. We will still need to develop a QB.

We don't think Saban is leaving this year or next year... maybe 5+.

You can be mad that we are good fans that have realistic expectations about this year, but that's all it is.

As a lifelong Bama fan I realize we deserve it. We are entitled, oafish, rednecky and often have sex with our siblings when our aunts and uncles are busy. If we have to lose 6 games, so be it. Personally, I think Ole Miss beats us by 3 touchdowns and I welcome our forthcoming two decades in the cfb wasteland.

Yeah... time to re-promote Chicken's thread questioning Bama's championship count...
