Texas hasn’t been this talented in 15 years

Sark has recruited the LOS at an elite SEC level. Glad to see that depth show up.

Negative. Texas still has every ability to lose at home to Kansas in a few weeks.

This is the same Texas that hasn't won the Big 12 since 2009. Get the frick out of here LOL. Alabama is DONE!

Not everyone. Plenty of us have pointed to the QB situation all offseason.

Good on Texas for blitzing, but Milroe wasn’t even looking at half of the field.

Umm not if Texas, Florida State, Michigan/Ohio State, and USC go undefeated. You quite literally don't control your destiny.

Texas is a 2-3 loss team. Alabama is just not very good this year.

Texas could run the table and win the title and I don't think even that would change the narrative around here.

I aint sure Alabama is an average team at the moment. The QB situation is DIRE and they apparently need a center that can snap the ball in the shotgun instead of rolling it back to the QB. Texas looked good and if they have the depth could have a really good season but Alabama hasn't been this bad in many years. They are probably not as bad as they looked Saturday but the QB situation is as bad as it gets....

Not often I agree with a Horns fan about anything, but you hit that nail squarely on the head. I fully expect the "average team" narrative to follow OU and UT next season – no matter how they fare against other SEC teams.

I'm looking forward to it, actually.

Concerning Alabama's side of things, the issues are larger than just Milroe, but Milroe is a pretty damn big issue. I know it's only his second start and I'm sure the Texas game was intimidating for him and probably rattled his nerves, especially when he was making mistakes. It felt like as the game went on, he began forcing plays that were just bad. Maybe he learns from it and improves, but 33 yards passing in the first half or whatever it was, is pretty telling that there's a qb issue. Not taking anything away from Texas - they beat us straight up, no gimmicks, no excuses - but Milroe certainly didn't do a whole lot to help us win it either.

Whatever you gotta say to sleep at night. Saban will retire at the end of this year and Alabama fans can go back to what they really care about. Cousins and a weird unhealthy obsession with mayonnaise.

That's just the way most people are here. They refuse to acknowledge anything positive unless it's about their own team. Otherwise, it's a game of mental gymnastics to belittle achievements and come up with excuses.

What was it like 5 sacks and 9 or 10 QB pressures? I don't think Milroe is the biggest problem. He made some mistakes in a high pressure game like most QBs would probably do in their 2nd start, but your Oline and running game did not do him any favors.

Texas has been loading up in recruiting the Dline and Oline for at least the past 3 years, and that's whats been missing for nearly 15 years. Those big uglies showed up on the field to play last Saturday. You faced a real top 10 team and lost but it was still a good game. BAMA fans need to suck it up...I expect Saban will right the ship and have a winning season because he's still a damn good coach..Just maybe not the type of season Bama fan's have been spoiled with.
