Lived out there for 6 years. Ran up on these SOBs like that and played it out. Even had a cop try to give me a ticket because I had a FL Drivers License. I said well give me a ticket and I will see you in court. Late at night and I am on my Motorcycle. (I was in the military at the time so yeah, didn't need one but played my accent a little and he started talking down to me. f* those types.

I've experienced that as well. Until they come. Then they move here and frick up the south, just like the trash cities they just abandoned.
