Christ, I hate those arrogant pricks. There are former longhorn players on tape admitting to taking money. Your broken QB’s wife/girlfriend admitting to it.
So sanctimonious when history shows they cheated as much as anyone else in the SWC and Big 12. The only reason they escaped for the most part was because they owned the media and the lawyers .. anytime A&M embarrassed them, they would put both to work. SMU beat them? Death penalty. Briles at Baylor? Banished
Biggest hypocrites of all.

Art Briles will make a lot of “surprise” visits to tcu befoee big games. Good drama with him showing face in the big 12.

None of them were great guys, including the Texas coaches and staff. I’ve actually sat in a room with DeLoss cronies and listened to them brag about the checks they wrote over scotch and cigars
Here is a hint - every single team cheats. I actually know deluded horns that think they’ve never cheated because they don’t have to do so. That is the power of the media. Even Catholic Notre Dame cheats. Lou Holtz cheated like a son of a bitch.

Where did I say that? I was talking about the SWC. We likely cheated towards the end. Hell, we had to, you guys were giving cars away to players that didn't even sign with TAMU.
And definitely had to pay players in the Big 12 if we wanted to compete with OU. They sure as hell paid'em, and always did.

You and the rest of the A&M fans are so nervous because in the next year or 2 you won't have your biggest selling point over Texas.. A&M will no longer be able to lean on the strength of the SEC to win recruits over from Texas.. You will now have to lean on your program and its history to win recruits over the Longhorns.. I have all day can you sell me on the rich history of the A&M football program? Johnny Football is all I can think of and now the world knows all he wanted to do his whole life was play for the Longhorns LOL

That's it. Period. Once Texas is in the SEC any recruiting edge in being in a more competitive conference (which was the only advantage A&M had) disappears.
There is really nothing else. Texas is a historically better brand and will likely be a bit more successful in its first ten years.
