How toxic was the situation at TX that Sarkisian was the best hire they could make?

I’ve been saying this for almost two decades. No big fish wants to swim anywhere in Texas the water is way too toxic statewide

I don’t know if Sark is a long termer at Texas but he’s recruiting very well and whipped OU unlike any Texas team ever has.

It can’t be overstated how important that is to the exes. It sounds silly to the SEC probably, but that game is more important to the exes than it should be.

Why do you idiots have no self awareness. Do you not realize who y'all hired before Brian Kelly?

You guys were absolutely dominating before the PC was invented. Congrats on all those dubs from 1800’s- 70’s

Well, if we use only records from 2000 and on, the discrepancy is even worse. Texas leads 9-3 from 2000-2011

Thanks for yet another self-own!!

To answer your rhetorical question - Extremely toxic

Boosters are pouring in more money then ever. Do you think UT boosters who are notoriously demanding can put up with funding that roster only to finish with 7-8 wins and not sniff a championship game?

Unless Texas is a top 5-6 team this year then he gets the boot sooner than later.

So you're saying if Texas finishes No. 7 or No. 8 in the country, he's getting fired?

He’s an average head coach but he’s doing a great job building the program to a more stable level. My hope is he gets us into decent shape and makes us attractive enough to hire a big name.

I'm saying if he stagnates around there for 2-3 years then yes I imagine he would be on a hot seat. Do you not think so?

I disagree. Being ranked that high puts you in the playoffs every year. I don’t see us firing a coach for doing that.

You obviously are a case of willful ignorance about the rabid weasel fan base of UTa. They ran off a coach that averaged 9.2 wins per season…only had 1 losing season out of 16. Won 10 of 15 bowl games, a Natty.

Yep, they did Mack Brown wrong. He should still be in Austin and associated with our university. I hope that we have learned from that. Willful ignorance…nah, optimistic and hopeful that we’re smarter than that now.

Your display of your personal stupidity noted. Tell us again how proud you are of Sark’s 13-12 record in the minor leagues. But hey, thanks for proving the point.
