I heard that too. Hopefully he has gotten better with Rodgers pushing him.

I would trust Cole’s evaluation over my own. I just haven’t seen him do anything since getting here.

Last year was bad, spring was bad, if he’s seen something else other then being 6-6 330 then he’s seen more then me

I think he said "it looks like he's starting to put it all together and when he does with his body he will be a force" something along those lines. Hope he's right

Mike G.
@mikegittens
Follow
Based on what I've gathered I'd rank the QB room
1. Holden
2. Robby
3. Thorne

Did anybody miss this? From the war rapport dudes..

I haven’t listened to their post scrimmage podcast yet, but I know Mike G has always been a big Holden fan. What we do know is Ashford and Holden both lead multiple touchdown drives. Throne didn’t have any touchdown drives.

Eastern Carolina might need an experienced backup.

And Mike G gets a lot of his info from current players unlike some other sites, who believe the other QB is OJ Simpson and Dan Marino rolled into one, and if they did not have to practice could probably solve the Collatz conjecture in their spare time.

I saw it but it seemed like it was just Holden had a good day and Ashford had a good day so that’s how he ranked them.

Then someone in the replies shredded him because a day earlier Mike G was saying to be careful jumping to conclusions based on one scrimmage.

I don’t think it’s worth fighting about because no one really has a clue. But I do find things like that funny.

Have to agree with Corch on this one. Jayson Jones hasn't got the job done yet. Hopefully with this heat and football practice Rodgers starts melting some fat away. DT is still a major need for us and something we will have to hit the portal hard for.

This is the correct answer. I’d love for Freeze to trot Hank Brown out there 1st snap just to troll everyone.

He does everything right, but I have yet to see It translate to the field.

To be fair there were also reports of Thorne having one or two TDs dropped and another that didn’t count because the receiver ran out of bounds on the play.

Good news is it sounds like QB room is much better from last year. Bad news is it looks like the WRs still suck

Hugh Freeze and defensive coordinator Ron Roberts have tried to bring in as much talent to the defensive line room as possible. Rogers was asked if he had ever played with a defensive line group as deep as this one.

"No, not this one," Rogers said. "My last year at Kentucky we definitely were deep and we had a nice rotation but this rotation? Everybody's athletic."

hope he isn't blowing smoke.

He also went against the 1’s we know. We don’t know how much the other two did that. Long story short, we don’t know shite.
