I would be on defense all the time if I lived near St. Louis too

we have had one bad season in 25 years …

I am not going to argue that Georgia is on Oklahoma's level historically, but only one bad season in the last 25 years? I guess that depends on what your definition of "bad season" is, but.....

Oklahoma

1998-5-6
1999-7-5
2009-8-5
2014-8-5
2022-6-7

Georgia

2009-8-5
2010-6-7
2013-6-5
2016-8-5

I was basing a bad season on 5 losses or more. Now, if you want to say a bad season is a losing record, then Oklahoma has two of those and Georgia has one in the last 25 years.

Again. Historically, Oklahoma has Georgia beat. But in the last 25 years, Georgia has definitely been the better team, by pretty much any metric you use.

as a whole OU might have as much or the same amount of NFL players on roster right now .

UGAWireUSAToday.com

Georgia has 57 players on NFL roster that are active.

Oklahoma has 35 active players on NFL rosters.

SEC by far the best conference. Big 12 is way behind.

Keep in mind the graphic you linked was from a year ago. The disparity has gotten worse now.

For example...your graphic is showing 47 and I am showing Georgia currently with 57.

The number I quoted was the beginning of the regular season. Is yours including players currently on the roster? There will be cuts made - remember there is only 1 cut this year.

don’t copy the bad season only and not put in the good …..I am not going to argue that Georgia is on Oklahoma's level that was my point UGA right now is elite no doubt but to say everything points to UGA and OU zero cmon your stretching it a bit .

They outbid Oregon for that 5-star safety last year that briefly flipped to Oregon from Notre Dame due to money.
you have no clue why he picked OU….. you just make up assumptions like this he must of been payed … he chose to go to OU a because he finally spoke up and told his greedy parents who wanted him to go to Oregon for the cash ….. that he wanted to be at OU… His dad Oregon for the cash and ND his mom wanted him…. Even though he was committed to ND he visited OU more than any school and everyone at OU a knew he wanted to go there.

So your story is 100 percent backwards of the truth ….. and he said it when he committed so stop making stuff up.

Just because you don’t get a 5 star kid at Bama doesn’t mean he cant go to another school for the record if you would see all the studs Venables has put in the nfl you would understand it does matter ….. the school plays a part too regardless of what you want to think Historically OU has been rated number 1 by several outlets over Bama

OU wasn't even at the top, came down to Mizzou and Georgia. Coaching staff has known for about a week.

Great to hear, hope Mizzou keeps him.

Far too much fighting in this thread, though. Mizzou fans know we aren't going to compete for as many top recruits as these other schools, probably why we get touchy on these things.

Correct, he knew 2 weeks ago. Wish the kid nothing but happiness. He was respectful in how he announced, no hat tricks.

Heres the clip you mentioned:

Yeah I did like that. Makes me cringe when Mizzou recruits do it to others and pisses me off when in-state guys do it to Mizzou and pick some blue blood. I respect McLellan who picked OSU over Mizzou a few days ago for handling it the same way.
