"That's really all it is (the gloves matching the jersey)," Nwaneri said. "I just put it on. When we wear white (jerseys), I've got white Mizzou gloves. So, I'm going to throw them on. I have all types of gloves. I just like to wear what matches my uniform, that's all it is. Nothing more to it."

Also mentioned that he has several teammates at Mizzou already and has tried to recruit some of his LSN teammates to Mizzou with him but doesn't want to pressure them too much cause he knows how that feels and wants to let them make the best decision for them.

Again, ya'll need to stop listening to that desperate fanboy at your rivals site.

Most paperclups are desperate fanboys. They don't have a life.

I love that you’re setting yourself up for disappointment twice on the same recruit.

What’s comical is you don’t know the difference between a moderator of a forum and a recruiting director or expert of the site lol..

Nwareni camp has made NIL the priority - so yeah - he could still end up at OU - but that offer gotta go much, much higher.

Come on, OU oil money boosters - pull the trigger!

The oil money is flowing in Norman, OU had the highest overall offer for nwaneri. The Missouri law that lets him get paid this September was supposedly what swayed him to Mizzou.

I've seen copy of the Missouri law requiring that he actually signs with an in-state school before before receiving NIL. A verbal doesn't work.

He may well be trolling, but I bet it's not over until December. I wouldn't put money on it either way.

No one really knows.

Ignore our mizzoutards saying they do know.

I think maybe they might be earning before they sign but not receive it until then. The school probably isn't gonna tell anyone the NCAA hates us for some reason.

Thanks. Good to know. I'd been seeing it used as an excuse by OU guys as to why they lost on Nwaneri. Then some guy searched the actual legislation and shared the wording.

But I keep seeing people saying he can get paid right away, which doesn't seem to be the case. I'm not nearly concerned enough to go digging myself.

As I understand it, once the player signs financial aid paperwork, he’s eligible to collect NIL $$. And he can do that anytime between now and ESD.

I've heard that about the FA paperwork as well and didn't really know what to think about it.

It's interesting to think that some of these guys might take the NIL money while still in high school and then actually sign elsewhere, not that I have any reason to think that's the case here. But now that the legislation might be set up for such a thing, I wonder how long it'll be before someone takes advantage.

2024 five-star DE Mizzou commit Williams Nwaneri is expected to visit Arkansas this weekend, per @ArRecruitingGuy
.

Nwaneri is ranked as the number one defensive lineman in the country by all recruiting sites.

If you’re going to make the trip it was a good weekend to go a lot empty seats.
