SHHHHH!!!

It's much more fun watching internet tough guys get angry over something trivial. Don't ruin the party now

Surely it was only a penalty in the Big 12 if done in the face, no? I admit, I thought the entire time that it was nothing more than a standard taunting penalty which Texas whine about so much that the big 12 added the "horns down" language to soothe the sore pussied horns. Now it seems it was a penalty ANY time it was done???? Hell, thats infinitely worse...that does, however, mesh with what I know of Texans and their nether regions being sore...

It was never called period. Texas has had more flags thrown against them for doing a simple "shhh" gesture to the crowd than any player on an opposing team has for doing the horns down.

They never "added language"? The Big 12 used horns down as an example when explaining the new taunting rule before the 2019 season (probably because Texas takes up more space in opponents' heads than anyone else).

Again... not the case, nor has this ever been the case

Again, could not be further from the truth. Most longhorn fans LOVE when other fanbases decide to use our sign instead of their own. Basically makes the game more meaningful, and more about Texas if anything. We love the fact that teams care more about Texas losing than their own teams winning
