Doesn't the ACC have 16 teams? Maybe the SEC wanted ALL its teams to participate unlike what happened playing the BIg12.
Also, the SEC/ACC deal includes WBB as well as MBB.

It rotates every few years. We already played out the Big 12 challenge contract.
I was really hoping we would draw Virginia Tech in the challenge bc that’s Buzz’s old stomping ground.

Auburn and Texas A&M need to trade. We want Virginia. You can have VT.

It only rotates with Power Conferences
Do you know if the SEC will challenge the Big Ten before it swings back around to the Big 12?

geography isn't the reason Cincinnati will never be in the SEC -

Dude. Cincy would never get an SEC invite and it had nothing to do with geography.... You don't bring anything to the SEC. Your football is arse and you get hot in basketball once in a while. We already have an Arkansas. Move along with your Vanderbilt sized stadium.

That’s southern for you’re not qualified.

even Sankey visited our campus to evaluate our Athletic Department and was said to have been impressed. Geography was the ultimate issue. We did not fit the footprint.
I'll take things that never happened for 500, Alex.

We've won 2 titles in hoops. It is a legendary program with some of the greatest athletes and coaches in the game. The NIP has a great atmosphere and if you had ever attended a game there you would know what I mean. Besides we can always use PBS.

Why did the SEC quit the Big 12/SEC challenege
ESPN lost media rights to the Big 10 for their Big 10-ACC Challenge, so they arranged the SEC-ACC Challenge instead.
