I was told by a UC insider on the Scout board that Sankey told both former UC president Davenport and current president Pinto that location was the biggest barrier.

That's the sugar coating reason on why. The real reason is that you're not the top program and won't get people to watch the games on a consistent bases. People from Ohio watch Ohio St not Cincinnati. Have fun in the AAC part 2 aka Big 12.

Who watches Auburn when you're not playing Alabama or Georgia?

People will watch us in the Big 12 while We all will see you on the SEC Network.

Not about LSU. Two titles doesn’t make you legendary.

You’re 55th in tv ratings last year. Your football stadium is the size of a high school stadium. Your endowment is tiny. Your team is 66th in profitability this past year. All the schools in the SEC would have to make less money per year to add you. Does this make sense??? We get it you’re passionate about your school but it isn’t good fit culturally or financially.

"The biggest reason is geography."

Yeah, like the geography that you're an hour away from Lexington and half of Hamilton County are Kentucky fans/alums. We already bring the Cincinnati market to the SEC. The other half are Ohio State. Cincinnati's campus is a paltry commuter campus set right next to your shitty zoo. Nippert is a high school stadium. There is no world in which you EVER will qualify for this conference. Stick to trolling Xavier.

Enjoy that while it lasts. The ACC will soon be nothing more than a memory.

I'm sure we will poach a couple from them when the time comes.
I guess we will do a Big 10 or Pac 12 challenge after that.
