Just read WarCamEagle's intro post and chuckled because like him, I've been a longtime lurker and despite numerous attempts to join the board, have never been able to. I upvoted his post and realized I'd somehow been let in as well. Why the hell it'd take so long? Lol. Thanks! Looking forward to chatting about AU sports.
Anyway, AU grad, class of 2003. Had the opportunity to move back to Auburn in 2020 and jumped at it, and have loved every minute of it. Sure, it's not the same as it was 20 years ago, but living in AU has been fun, and its a great place to raise a family. Love the easy access to AU sports as well.
- I too think Sean White had some grit. Hell, I sat there in the Superdome and watched him play through the first half with a broken arm, only to have Oklahoma make Gus look silly upon his exit. That said, he still wasn't an SEC caliber QB.
- Appreciate Gus getting us to Phoenix & So Cal (I went to both). Wish he'd recruited O-linemen his last few years. By all accounts he is a great guy though and was a good representative of AU, but was ready to see him go. Had no clue how bad his replacement would be. Feels like Harsin set us back many years.
- Bo Nix loves/d AU, and if Freeze had been his coach he'd likely still be here. But, if he was a cancer to the locker room he needed to go anyway.
- Salmon at IHOP - WTF?
- Bruce is the shite
- Lior deserves a scholarship
- Charcoal > gas, but Blackstone is still pretty legit
- Kroger > Publix to me, but if you ask my wife, she'd disagree
- Speaking of wife - no pics today, but I haven't been drinking yet, so pics are likely in the future
- Gulf Coast - 30A is great but we vacation a few miles away on Miramar Beach
- Ketchup on a hot dog - not really for me, but I don't hate it. Definitely don't put it on a Chicago dog though.
- Favorite Craft beer - Miller Lt

Heck yeah. I knew Marquis back in the day and still talk to him when I see him around town or at bball games/events. Hated to hear about Shana's passing last month. I'll definitely be in the bball threads and regularly interact with BP, Steven, Prewett, & Coach Davis - so I'll share what I can when the time is right.
Also a huge baseball guy, even though I know it's not high on your list of priorities, jang. But, I'll be in the threads for all 3 major sports.

Loved the guy, but I'm not sure if I ever read his posts all the way thru. Something about them made the nearly unreadable to me. I'd try, but abandon them 1/2 thru.

I did get a pretty good deal to sign up with 24/7 late last year, but I'm thinking about hitting the transfer portal when the deal is up.

On3 has been the best paysite since Keith’s departure from 247. Even with Keith’s transition to the Gators On3 site Cole Pinkston has filled the void well.
And I’m saying all this in spite of my disdain for Hoke. He’s a prick.
