If those mofos knew how to make biscuits and gravy they’d be fat too.

They do eat salads... only it's a chicken breast with a lettuce sail on an ocean of ranch.

I think it has more to do with the fact that the South doesn't have a lot of guys drinking iced coffee & chugging cocks all day like the West & East Coast markets do.

[replying to the obesity map]
It doesn't surprise me one bit that Colorado has the lowest obesity rate. I was out in Denver several years ago and it was great. I recall being in some random grocery store in a Denver suburb, seeing 30- 40- 50-something women (and with kids) left and right who were thin and attractive. Nary a set of "thunder thighs" to be seen.

People actually spent a lot of time outside years ago.
People get inside put the a/c and tv on and game over.
Years ago lots of people gardening, working on cars/machines and household chores. Now they just sit.

Oklahoma isn't a Southern state. Same goes for Texas (much less the RGV).

Fayetteville and Nashville surprise me I’ve never noticed as many fatties there but I’ve only been to the nicer parts

I'm in birmingham and almost hit a blue haired hippo in a crosswalk this morning. She was out walking her dog, still huge.
Confirmed. Birmingham is fat. Thanks to these type and those on the west side.

Interesting. I wonder how they even come up with this? I haven't sent in my weight to anybody. Do they cold call you and ask if you are fat?

from the 1970s and before, and you will see that almost everyone is relatively trim. To be sure, I am not built like a Greek god, but if you walk around now, like 40-50% of the people walking around are as big as like 4-5% fifty years ago.
