Best Player in Omaha

Is not Dylan Crews. Could the lights be to bright or the stage to big? He is 2-8 hitting since arriving to Omaha.

I’m not talking about regular season, or in a month. I am talking about right now in Omaha, and Crews is 2-8 hitting.

It’s a small sample size against good pitching. It isn’t like he is 0-8 with 6 strikeouts.
With the game on the line, I would rather have Crews up than anyone else I can think of..
But yes, Skenes is more valuable imo. I haven’t seen Burns enough, but he was great yesterday. I would have said Mathews was close to the top, but he didn’t have a good game.
Baseball is a funny sport. You have to hope the ball is bouncing your way in an elimination game.

So you mean who is the player with the best stats or who has played / performed the best thus far in Omaha. Crews' stats doesn't change the fact that he is one of the best players out there.

Yea, 10 at bats is a fair number to judge a 2 time All American, back to back SEC Player of the Year, 3 time all SEC, etc etc player. Good Lord.

Crews is hitting like .480 in the postseason, but yes let's take one game where he went hitless and say the stage is too big for him. Hell, his career BA in the postseason is around .500 with 7-8 HRs.

Right now the MVP would appear to be Bennett Lee. Which does not make me happy. because I'd rather him not be there.
