Logical Reasoning?

Can someone give me a logical reason as to why Tenn fans wanted LSU to lose so badly? They had a better chance at beating LSU twice than Wake Forest with each teams pitching depth.

Because Notre dame beat them last year when they had the greatest team of all precws teams.

Because eliminating LSU has more troll value?

Ahh so they care more about trolling than winning it all?

UT is 1-3 against LSU this year, no hiding it. They have also scored 18 runs on LSU when Skenes didn’t pitch.
UT pitching is deeper than both LSU and Wake. Beating LSU tomorrow will give us an extra day to get Burns, Dollander, Lindsey, Swelle, and Halverson back.
Dollander threw 58 pitches, and Burns threw 73 pitches. Both will be ready if we play Wake.

Did you do coke with the WF pitcher in the bullpen?

This guy probably still thinks Dollander is better than Skenes after im not sure hes been a top 25 pitcher this year.

Option 1
1) Beat Wake
2) Beat LSU
3) Beat LSU (with Skenes)
Option 2
1) Beat LSU (without Skenes)
2) Beat Wake
3) Beat Wake
If I am TN:
Both options would be tough, but I’d rather take my chances with Wake knowing that Skenes would send us home. I would pick Option 2 all day long.

All three of Wake’s starters have sub 2.50 ERAs and their 4th starter does too. Almost their entire staff has a sub 3.00 ERA. Their pitching is ridiculously deep. I’d have more confidence beating Skenes once than any of those guys twice in a row

Nope! Drew Beam will be drafted in the 1st round next year. He would go 1st round this year if eligible. Then we still have Swelle, Kirby, Russell, Halverson, and Combs all available tomorrow. Dollander and Burns will be available Wednesday if we play considering Dollander threw 55 pitches and Burns 73. Then Andrew Lindsey is also available. Lindsey has only given up more than 3 runs 1 time all year. We still have plenty in the bull pen. Looks like LSU and wake went all in tonight.
LSU trusted its pen so much tonight they brought in Hurd which should have been your starter tomorrow. LSU is done!!! Biggest choke job of all time.

None of Wake’s bullpen arms went more than 14 pitches. They’d all be available tomorrow if they played. Their staff is better and deeper than Tennessee’s

You are kind of dumb

Tennessee didn’t have the top 2 players in the country/MLB draft picks on last years team. Didn’t Skene win the Dick Howser award?

You may be right. But one thing for sure is Wake and UT have the top 2 pitching staffs in the country.
Team ERA
#1 Wake
#2 UT
Whip
#1 Wake
#2 UT
We will be fine.

Both options are shitty
They will need a lot of luck to advance.
Perhaps the coaches and players would choose the other option, but I can see why TN fans wouldn’t want to face Skenes again. The dude is flat out scary to play against.

LSU didn’t get bounced at home in the super regionals as the #1 overall seed. Vandy’s choke jobs in 2007 and 2013 are still worse but Tennessee’s last year is up there
