I hope he stays because Aden is going to break out next season imo. He has every skill you could ask from a pg. He just needs to get a little stronger

I mean I am guessing 500k would fund the first 3 years of whatever ministry he is wanting to start. That seems worth it.

I don't have the answer to all this NIL money and because I don't give to On to Victory, I really shouldn't complain about who we get or don't get. It's unfortunately not just about the program, staff or education anymore.

But I do suspect if there's 13 players on scholarship, more than half of them are going to be paid. I don't envy the staff trying to figure out how much they have to spend and how to divvy it out and produce a championship winning team year after year. It's what they get paid to do but I don't envy them in this new world of roster management.

Cardwell both also enter the portal.
this makes me sad. He is my favorite player from this past year's team. He is such a great person and so fun to watch. I really hope he sticks it out at Auburn.. We love him here

For us to be where we want to be we need more than Dylan has to offer at the starting spot. He’s great as a backup who injects energy and defends the rim well, but ultimately he’s far too limited on offense to start. Plus he might foul out of every game if he starts.

Exactly. We all love Dylan but he is not the caliber player we need to get us where we want to be and where we should be

The crowd feeds off his antics and that's important as often as we sub whole units.

Aden is getting more NIL money than anyone else potentially returning. If we’re keeping him around we’re going to be another first weekend exit team unless he drastically improves.

We definitely should cut his salary a bit until he performs. He didn't earn it this past year. He didn't perform like a top5 PG coming of "high school".

That would be considered pay for play.

Maybe Lord Sabear is right.

J Hoke

Signee Tahaad Pettiford will not come in as a point guard. He's a "scorer," Bruce Pearl states. Pearl said he'll play Pettiford off the ball early in his career and "get buckets."

Lets hope not. We want a PG who can produce.

Why don’t you think Aden can improve? Tons of sub 6’ PG’s struggle as freshmen. Actually, almost all of them do. Josh Hubbard and Sharife Cooper are rare breeds.

Jared was a little better than Aden as a freshman but he still struggled a good bit in SEC play and beyond

That being said, nothing wrong with adding a good PG/surer thing in the portal either way.. it would probably scare one of Tre/Aden away but in any case it’s a worthy risk
