Our guards couldn't penetrate against Ivy league athletes

Before the ironbowl, College Football coaches were 0-90 against 4th down and more than 30.

0-90 in the history of college football.

0-90

It had never happened

Till it did in JHS

I don’t mind losing in a dog fight but when the refs start playing too, it just drives me nuts. In the Florida game, the Colorado guy blatantly pushed off before hitting the game winner 2 and they just fricking game watched.

Go watch Bruce post game comments pretty much sums it up. You can tell he truly believes we got shafted by the zebras. We shot over 50% for the game. At one point he said thenYale players knew how to fall to get the whistles. He was especially unhappy with the CBM elbow going from no foul call to a Flagrant 2. He said how many Flagrant 2s had been called this year? Said 95% of time that’s a Flagrant 1.

I heard his interview pre game too and I recall he had mentioned that they flop to get fouls so we have to watch out for that.

I agree to an extent but the 4 straight turnovers and the wild turnover/foul by KD really didn’t help us and that wasn’t the zebra’s fault.

He said that as well, but KD had to play more minutes cause CBM was out. He was really upset about it being an ejection situation.

We definitely got an extremely unfortunate whistle. Should have won regardless but it did suck.

The reason so many guys on our team are effective is because of the chip on their shoulder. You walk a fine line with guys like CBM. Tonight it turned out the wrong way

CBM getting ejected was the difference. Plain and simple. If he doesn’t get ejected then even if he has a bad game we win just from the standpoint bad KD doesn’t have to eat all those minutes at the 3. I said it all game that Chris Moore should have gotten more minutes. If he takes some of those kd minutes we probably win just from a standpoint of not turning it over so many times.

And to agree with everyone ADEN IS AWFUL when he has a bad game. Which was almost every game this year once conference play started. He does not bring anything to the game except shooting and he didn’t even do that this year.

I bet his dad was more upset. What a bummer for him. Didn’t even get to really see his son play in person

Not to go full scoper but it's so frustrating to watch bamas guards just pick this inferior opponent apart and get the rim at will. I know sears don't grow on trees but Bruce has got to find a version of this if we are going to make another run in the tournament

I mean we were fairly efficient on offense other than completely unforced turnovers. Choking at the line is what really surprised me

Baker-Mazzara fricked us. For all the great stuff he did this season, that’s how he will be remembered.

When we needed a bucket down the stretch or to stop their runs we didn't have that guy

Unless he comes back and redeems himself next year, which I would welcome, I agree with you. That’s unfortunately just how this stuff works

Yeah, we don’t have an elite guard. Hopefully Pettiford could be something like that but I’d never count on a true freshman pg to be truly elite Sears level type. Denver is a really nice player but he’s not that type dude. Maybe we can find one
