Why are we bitching about QB play. We’ve had one practice and not even in pads. The coaches have 14 days to sort out who looks the best of the 3 we have now. A decision will be made after A-Day on what needs to be done.

All the coaches on staff seem to be making the right decisions by using everyone and teaching fundamentals and technique. Next week they will see who can match fundamentals, technique, and being physical. Thank goodness they feel we need to build from the floor up instead of just rearranging the furniture and putting new drapes up.

Been trying to warn and tell everyone the building blocks will be laid the next 2 seasons in recruiting and development. Sure we can win 7,8,9 games any season but what we all want is a sustainable program that legitimately can compete for a playoff spot 3-4 years out of 5. Yes it can be patched quickly with some transfers but quality depth takes 2-3 years to get to. We will come into this fall season somewhere around the 6 or 7 most talented roster in the SEC which doesn’t bode well for competing for championships. It will be about the same next year if we have a really good class with UT and OKie coming in. So getting yourself in that top 4/5 in conference overall team talent level is a couple great recruiting classes away. I expect a very good class this year somewhere between 10-12. Around 6-8 in 25 and depending on the juice surrounding the program going into the next season hopefully a top 5 class in 26.
