no....our defense was absolutely awful and it never improved as the season went on.

The LSU game stands out where we never had a chance because we lined up 8-12 yards off every receiver on every single play. LSU 10 yard pass'd us the entire night.

We had a ton of new faces in Durkin's defense in 2021 and that defense actually won us game later in the season.

There were two serious outlier games but we ranked much higher this year in total defense than last year. About the same in scoring defense. Not bad for a first time playcaller. LINK
