Because it's bragging rights in the moment, but no one cares about it after it happens. You don't see LSU fans bragging about being SECW champions a decade ago, because no one actually cares.

I’m just saying, we have one conference championship in the SEC in bball one time, sidewalk made it sound like a goose egg. Give us our credit for one!
