LSU: 5
Jack Bech, WR/TE
Antoine Sampah, LB
Philip Webb, LB
Damarius McGhee, CB
Jordan Toles, S
Kayshon Boutte announcing he’s coming back in 2023 sealed Bech’s fate. If Daniels returns, it means the entire 11 offensive starters will be back in 2023.
Sampah and Webb were already gone in 2022 and were not on the roster this year.
McGhee was in his 2nd year and played in only 1 game in 2022.
Toles did not contribute much in the secondary (much like McGhee) when we added 4-5 transfers in last year to shore up the depth.

Reported by On3 from 12/7/22:
Several teams are taking a hit in this year's college football transfer portal. No one is getting bludgeoned quite like Jimbo Fisher's Texas A&M Aggies.
On3 evaluates every move on college football rosters, and per its algorithm, Texas A&M has been affected the most.
So far, TWENTY TWO Aggies players have entered the portal, more than any other team in college football.
"Not everyone wants to run a jump. A lot of guys want to prove we've got a good team, we have a good group," said Fisher in a news conference last month. (h/t Sports Illustrated)
It looks as though that might not necessarily be the case. The NIL money was undoubtedly nice for the players. Escaping the Texas A&M dumpster fire? That's priceless.

What does that number really say though?
Our starters are so awesome that the studs we recruited last year realize they won't see the field for two more years?
The studs we recruited last year aren't as studly as we thought?
I've got one season left and I want to go somewhere I can play every down?
This place is a dumpster fire and I want to get as far away as possible?
Having a lot of kids enter the portal could be any or all of these or other reasons and I don't think it's necessarily an indictment of your program*.
*disclaimer: Unless you're Texas 8&4 in which case it's definitely an indictment of your program.

UGA still with so few transfers is amazing to me. Seems like that program is the next benchmark. They’re operating on a different level to me.

aggy cult has no clue on the importance of depth on a football team. It's a waste of timing talking football with those idiots. Most of them really think a new offensive coordinator will make them a good team.
Newsflash aggy - it's your whole program that is sh*tty not just the OC. Just ask App State lolololol

RB Justin Williams-Thomas 4th team
RB Len’Neth Whitehead. 5th team and missed yr with injury
WR Jimmy Calloway never plays, has stayed in the doghouse but a talented kid. Will do well in the right situation
WR Jimmy Holiday. Limited snaps another guy with talent. Will help some team
TE Miles Campbell 4th or 5th team. Raw potential but rumored to have never dedicated himself to college ball
