1) They are both qualified, especially on offense. But I think Freeze actually cares about defense. Lane coaches like he's in the Big-12 and prefers to win 55-49. The days of holding good teams to 10 are over, but Kiffin takes it to the extreme.
2) Rhule is qualified, but he's never coached in the SEC and has no southern ties. Rhule can coach, but I think Freeze would recruit better.
3) Freeze is more qualified than Fickle. Not a fan of G5 guys who've never coached P5. Also, Fickle has never coached outside the state of Ohio. (At least Harsin coached in Texas and Arkansas).

I don't want Rhule, but I am pretty sure Texas and North Carolina is south. Could be wrong.

So really all three are qualified. And if auburn pays one of those guys 5 million or freeze 5million do you think freeze is the safest hire based on his history? Would auburn overlook a dm to a coed? I dont think they will, and thats why i dont see the university investing big money into someone who makes constant stupid decisions.
