Look my whole point is that Kiffin is my #1 choice. I think he’s a full fit for us, but and I mean BUT!!!!! If we hired Hugh Freeze I think he would be a good hire. Dude is hungry to win. Plus not only did he beat an SEC school with inferior talent. He took an Auburn player and turned him into a heisman trophy candidate who was drafted in the first round. He can put men into the NFL and he can actually coach a player up. I just think all the mediocre talk is nonsense until proven to be so.

Like jang said i dont think freeze is a bad coach at all. Its apparent he can develop and recruit. But nothing says any of the other guys mentioned couldnt do the exact same thing without the attached baggage. Im sure lane has coached up some pretty damn good qbs in his time. Rhule has taken a team coming off an essential death penalty and won 11 games. Did the same thing at temple. So to say freeze is “the obvious choice” doesnt make sense. Im happy liberty beat byu and Arkansas but face it Arkansas sucks and so do we right now. Byu is as temperamental as a woman and you never know what you will get. Its not knocking freeze on his accomplishments at liberty.
