Urban is just a POS. Freeze is extravagantly a POS and was a cheater.

And for those that think the way Freeze did his family was only personal affairs, sure but in the grand scheme of priorities: God, family, and then football. Freeze has severe missteps in the first two and I’ve year to hear a sincere apology.

Jang, this post makes zero sense.

Hugh Freeze is still with his wife. He still has his family. And if you saw his family embrace him last night after the game, does that look like something that can be faked?

Urban Meyer has no one. He is 100x a bigger POS, and most significantly, his issues translate onto his own team and his own players. He abuses his own players and allows absolute garbage individuals to fester within his program. Hugh Freeze on the other hand is very well liked by both his players and assistants.

To me, the cutoff comes at what the actual impact is on the team and the players themselves. Hugh Freeze banged hookers, but he never took anything out on his own team. Urban Meyer is a horrible person who will damage everything in sight, not just himself. That's the difference.

His wife has more grace than I could give ever give over cheating on her for years.

Oh, yes. He’s a POS. However, he didn’t have to cheat. His accomplishments didn’t get white washed. It wasn’t that Hugh cheated, it was how he cheated. Plain as day and everyone was snooping while he was holding his religion shield.

I did read that Ole Miss didn’t have to give Hugh a buyout because of a morality clause. I bet they felt smart afterwards. Morality and football.

Having gone to church in the south, I can absolutely say that's something that can be faked.

The amount of couples who put on a show just to give a business as usual vibe is fricking impressive.

Speaking of, anyone who was around Auburn back in the Tubs days probably has heard the stories about his wife.

Ahhh yes. Urban Meyer didn't need to cheat. Just good old X's and O's and Dominoes pizza

That's a good one.

Fact of the matter is this: one guy still has his family. The other guy's family left him. Yeah, maybe Freeze's fam is just a bunch of losers. Or maybe there's more to it than that.

I'm pretty sure everyone has heard about her potentially facing manslaughter charges for killing someone when she ran a red light and was in a traffic accident in Texas. The rumor with that one from folks I knew was she was wasted when she did that.

The other one was she got caught fricking someone who was not Tubs in the bathroom at 8th and Rail in Opelika.

There are some Auburn fans that have a problem with Hugh Freeze due to “moral issues,” when in reality we just don’t know what all is swept under the rug with other coaches.

Brian Kelly got a kid killed. Literally.

I don’t really care what any other coaches have or haven’t done. When you are hiring a man to lead young men you need to seriously consider their moral fabric and whether or not they are fit to do so. May or may not be the case with Freeze. He apologized for everything he did and I’d hope it’s something our admin could sort out in the interview process. I’ll trust them to do so. Therefore, if Freeze is hired I’ll be happy to jump on board because I do know the guy can coach.

Additionally, I'm sure everyone has heard the story from Eastern Michigan (or whatever school) where in invited 2 GA's to his Christmas party - only to have them park cars all night.

It's all the same - most of these guys are questionable - big egos. You could make the argument for going with a guy who has been knocked down. (I mean - sooo sorry for partying a little when I'm under high stress and have Ole Miss in the best position it has ever been in )

What makes it funnier is the two GAs were Matt LaFleur and Robert Saleh

That’s hilarious and awesome. Who made them do that?

According to reports, Kelly basically invited them to the party, and then when they got there told them to shovel snow and park cars.

I'm guessing they may or may not have been told to do it, or they'd have no job come the morning, and since they were both new to coaching, probably just went through with it.

They don't care. They now want morals to count as a coach stay to make losing look better. They basically want us on vandy level for good just to say they have morals. They want to act like their choices are Saint because no one has care to dig up dirt on them yet.

IIRC Cohen gave evidence against Freeze during the scandal at Ole Miss. I’d have to think that Cohen wants to stay far away from him.

Even if true its different when you are trying to win versus stop your rival from winning. Besides he hired Leech.

I can never follow your sentences coherently. What are you saying about Leach?

Quit trying to read them then and go worship your saint candidate.

As for Leach he was fired for locking his player in a shed for 3 hours. It sounds like he is all about morals.
