Didn't say Oxford is a meteorological oddity. But when you've got an FCS opponent in bad weather, the turnout is likely going to take a hit. That'd be true for just about anyone.
For instance, the first Chad Morris game was against an FCS opponent on a hot afternoon and drew 63K. If that game is against a FBS opponent, you figure that Arkansas would have drawn better.
(It's hard to count much since then on FCS opponents for Arkansas. We can't count the Chad Morris year, because Chad Morris. Sam's first season was the all-SEC covid year, and last year's FCS opponent was UAPB in War Memorial, which is both a smaller venue and Arkansas' first in-state matchup in years.)

Oxford is the reason why we can't fill our stadium.
Town is too small to support the amount of people it has. Very limited resources. Not enough hotels and the shitty ones that are there are too expensive. Most out of towners have to spend at least $500-1000 to stay a weekend in Oxford plus $100-$200 for a game ticket. Many have to get a hotel 1-2 hours away just to go to the game.
Parking situation is horrendous and they don't make it easy for you to get to the stadium either.
I live in Oxford and I would rather watch it on TV instead of having to deal with all of that shite.

The issue was never and has never been filling up the stadium. It was students and other fans leaving early against shitty teams.
I wish we would do better with that too, but it is what it is (which is something different than obsessed OP claimed)

The issue Lane commented on is what I posted. Fans leaving early. That is what he was complaining about, not lack of filling up the stadium.
