I hate to say this but I think they would and they would deserve it. If they beat Alabama then they are in the driver's seat to Atlanta and the CFP.

Not sure. Probably only 1 loss Ohio State or Michigan. Georgia or Tennessee at 1 loss and the other undefeated. Clemson undefeated. TCU.

I was thinking if UT won out they could potentially be the first, but that got ruined yesterday.

If LSU beats bama it will be interesting what happens. Not sure LSU would technically deserve to make it in over the loser of Tennessee or Georgia but that’s likely what will happen.

If TCU goes undefeated and gets screwed out of the playoffs for a second sec team I will probably quit watching college football

2 Loss SEC Champion LSU? Absolutely. The answer is yes.

Yes. A 2 loss LSU means we run the table including the SEC Championship game. No way the SEC Champ doesn’t get a spot.

We were unranked yesterday. Deserving or not, I think there's just too much to climb for LSU to even come close to playoffs.

And frankly, we're probably going to lose 1 more game.

Tennessee would have to have two losses and LSU would have to win the SEC.

It would be interesting but highly unlikely LSU wins out. This team has some fight in them they are fun to watch though.

If they are 11-2 and there is only one undefeated and a bunch of conference champions with 2 losses then yeah sure. but if you have OSU, Clemson, and TCU with Oregon, USC, or UCLA with one loss, and then LSU beats UGA by a score, I don't think they get in. The most likely chance in that scenario is if Oregon wins the Pac, but even then it's still a long shot. LSU has two bad losses, and their best hope is that Tennessee beats UGA thoroughly(aint happening) and LSU atones for their earlier loss in the SECCG.

Depends this sounds a lot like Penn st osu 2016. Penn st won the big but had out of conference loss to pitt(an average acc team) sound familiar? Committee took osu(in this case uga or tenn)

If we run the table we’re in. Just like 2017 Auburn would have had they won the SEC championship game.

Absolutely not. Just because LSU was gifted a BCS Championship game appearance that they didn’t deserve in 2007 doesn’t mean it will happen again.

LSU is already undeserving of a playoff appearance.

Talk of LSU making the playoff is silly.

Does not matter. As I have stated previously. I would just like to be able to beat K-State in a bowl game. Stop putting pressure where it does not belong.

Raise your hand if you thought this would be the discussion we’re having on 10/23/22 before the season started.

You're title assumes we run the table and beat either Tennessee or Georgia in the SECCG (we already have two losses).

That said if we take the SEC I doubt they keep us out.

as of now, OSU/Mich winner is in, UGA/Tenner winner is in. Can't see Clemson losing twice and the ACC is just good enough to get them in. TCU's schedule is rather easy but I think they could lose at Texas or Baylor. if they lose twice I think they're out but a 1 loss B12 champ gets in (TCU or maybe OkSt). The P12 is a mess but if one of the 3 (UO, USC, UCLA) can win out I think they're in. Not quite sure there are enough spots for 2 loss SEC champ LSU in that scenario

Whoever wins the SEC is in the CFP regardless of losses
