Things that can happen on a pass play.
1) Incomplete pass
2) Interception
3) Completion
You forgot 4) Weird safety/roughing the passer/not safety/not roughing
Not to mention sack, grounding, strip-sack, ineligible receiver down field, and unintentional backwards pass a la Jeremy Johnson.

So what about spiking the ball to stop the clock???
It’s technically a pass, but there’s no intention or effort to throw to an eligible receiver.
It’s using the gray area to your advantage to stop the clock.

That non safety call was weird. I think the refs got it right after totally screwing it up...My only gripe there is it doesn't seem like they reviewed it to see if Young's shin was down before he even rolled over the defender and threw the pass. That was pretty close.
The only 2 non calls that really irked me was a blatant PI by Bamas defender in the End zone in the 1st quarter that everyone saw and the facemask on Texas Running back that was blatant and twisted him around in the open field, how do they miss that?
The hit on Ewers that took him out wasn't dirty, just unfortunate...

You really think Texas will come in and clean up SEC officiating? Welcome to the hope of every team when there is a new commissioner hired.
There are 13, soon to be 15, schools not named Alabama in the SEC. Why dont you all ever vote to replace the officials? Always find this so weird.

Can you explain the line judge on Bama sideline? I'll hang up and listen.

Bama has always been "Big Daddy", but now they are about to be in a conference with 2, if not 3, richer schools that bring the $$$ and fanbases, if the other blue blood schools in the SEC choose to ban together then they can force change...You think any SEC commish wants to lose some cash cows from the conference over BS homer officiating crews?
