1000
I think this weekend plays out similar to the A&M game. My only concern is Evans possibly not playing.

Doesn’t appear he will play.

The Hawgs’ secondary is one of the worst in the conference. We have to attack them Saturday night. Our line must give Dart time to throw, because if they do, there will be open receivers.

Would be great to have the offense build confidence in the passing game going into the egg bowl.

From a quick glance at basic stats, it appears both teams have good kickers and poor punters. Both Cam Little (Pigs) and Cruz (Rebs) have made kicks from 50+. Our poor punting arguably cost us the game Saturday, giving Bama great field position on consecutive drives. Their punter averages less than 40 yards per punt. That's gotta be something we capitalize on.

KJ Jefferson will presumably play after sitting out the LSU game. He has not run as freely this year as he did last year, perhaps due to injury issues. Everyone here and on our team knows how good he is.
Their back, Rocket Sanders, is second in the conference in rushing yards behind our very own Mr. Judkins. He has been held in the check the past two weeks, though, tallying 106 yards on 29 carries. I would also note Judkins averages more yards/game in conference play than he does against non-conference foes, and Rocket does the opposite.

They have a tall receiver, Matt Landers, that has had a good season. He is 5th in the conference in yards. He is a UGA transfer.

Wonder also if Trigg might contribute or at least be a substantial distraction? Which is the same as contributing.

I have to agree and wonder what was up with that. He hasn’t seemed that bad all year. Wonder since he is an Australian if the cold weather had something to do with it?

Kiffin is gonna be the subject of rumors as long as he's here. Get used to it. He's handling it the way almost any coach does - by pretending it's a non issue.
Sure, he could unequivocally state he's not going anywhere. So did Saban when he was with the Dolphins. So did Tuberville when he was here. It's not going to stop the speculation.
Fans get caught up in the rumors way more than current players or recruits. If the relationship is strong, they're gonna listen to what the coach tells them over internet chatter.
If anything, I find it amusing that some Auburn people think it's a done deal that Kiffin will come if they want him. I don't have any inside info but he doesn't seem like the type to jump at the first opportunity. There's a good chance that several better jobs will be open in a year or two.

I agree but the possibility that Auburn offers Jimbo or Mel Tucker type money changes things somewhat

Sounding like Evans will in fact play Saturday. This is big.

Just saw the quote from chuck that he's expected to pass his final Concussion protocol test.

Neal's gone from Kiffin isn't leaving to he's taking the offer when it comes in 24 hours.
So, who's firing up the coaching hot board?

Man, I sure as hell hope the team and coaching staff are focused because losing to the Pigs and Dawgs to close this season would suck a mega wiener.

Kiffin leaving would be bad enough, the fact that Judkins, Dart, Trigg, etc would all go with him would brutal

I don't think Dart and Trigg can transfer without having to sit
