He only goes 11-1 every year because there is an absolutely massive talent gap between the OSU/Michigan/Penn State cohort and the rest of the B1G. They'll fire him in a couple of years after they get blasted in the expanded playoff and it becomes obvious that he's just Lincoln Riley in a trash conference.

This isn't me being salty...I felt this way before he flipped...Perry Thompson isn't a 5 star talent at WR. Good player and an obvious upgrade for Auburn but he'd have a tough time getting on the field in Tuscaloosa.
With their QB situation I wouldn't be shocked to see him in the portal next offseason. Same with Cam.
Just have to lockdown Williams. The win of the day would be getting him to sign today with Bama. Probably not happening.

He might not even be able to finish required courses to be available this year. Hard to do at the last minute, without going into the summer semester. Just testing the waters. Who knows.

He’s a good player - don’t knock him just cause he went to Auburn. They had a lot to sell at that position - should be easy for them.

I disagree. Probably wouldn’t play much as a freshman at Bama, but he’d be on the field often by the time he’s a sophomore and junior. It’s a loss, but we’re in good shape at WR

I specifically said he was good and I specifically said I felt that way before he flipped. Tape isn't 5 star caliber. Should be ranked in the 75-125 range.
Good for Auburn...they'll need a lot more than Perry Thompson to get on Bama's level, though.

I don’t know, but anyone with a brain can look at what they have at WR now and know that you can come in a start day 1.
It’s about the PT for many of these kids.
All is shits and giggles for now - no one really knows how good they are until they get their bell rung by SEC-level DBs. Many are also not used to having DBs run stride for stride with them too.
We’ll see and hope we get the good ones.

Do they? Shitty passing offense. AU and Freeze don’t pump out receivers into the NFL. The one 1st round WR of Freeze had was a huge bust in the NFL
Playing time too but mostly NIL is the reason he’s there

I mean Freeze put AJ Brown and DK Metcalf in the league and both are top tier wide receivers. Not saying it’s a great recruiting pitch as Auburn hasn’t produced an elite receiver in a very long time but to sell Freeze short is just a lie

I believe so but I’d still credit Freeze with the reason they are in the league.
