And how many of those teams have won a championship in the last 21 years?

They're staying independent for a long time.

Georgia, Tennessee, LSU and Florida if the standards are equivalent to your listed "blue bloods"

How many were made through actual success and accomplishments that overcame midwestern and west coast sportswriter/media bias in the eras that defined the bluebloods and how many benefited from it.

Army, Princeton, and Yale are still available and just as relevant in 2022 as that bunch with more championships between them.

Notre Dame is almost Minnesota level in terms of being "blue blood" at this point.

1 championship in 40+ years at this point.

Slightly OT but according to Miami insider posters at CanesInsight they are pretty confident that Miami will join the SEC and Clemson is their partner.

Announcement could come by the end of the season or potentially before and it's pretty much a done deal with some small things to work out, 2024-2025 is the timeframe to officially join.

FSU is looking to join too and the GOR is "challenging but not insurmountable."

Thread is 150+ pages here's a link: LINK

I wonder if they've already agreed to join the SEC and the SEC is just waiting on the B1G to officially announce Oregon and the other PAC teams for them to announce their additions. Assuming what has come out today about Oregon meeting with B1G is true.

The last time Michigan won more than a half championship was during the Truman administration. Congrats

Blue bloods that consistently get their arse kicked by the SEC. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Why would Notre Dame join the B1G? They are already a full voting member of the ACC.
